When you use a credit card to book a taxi with the SuperCab app, you may receive a text message from your bank of a SuperCab charge. Relax, it's just an authorisation hold.
It is because when customer uses a credit card, we will request authorisation from the card issuer to hold payments equivalent to the fare displayed in our app, and so the bank may use SMS to inform you simultaneously.
This hold will convert to a charge of the final trip fare when the trip completes. If you cancel the trip, the original authorisation hold will be voided.
